At Ipswich Tuition Centre we try to be as accommodating as possible to help students achieve their aims but we do have a few rules to help us run Ipswich Tuition Centre successfully.
1. Booked Tutorials
Students are enrolled to attend a course of tutorials. We will agree with you the day and time of the tutorials that are booked for the student. The student is then expected to attend the tutorial every week of the academic year. The term dates for the academic year are available on our website and at the centre. Students will be charged for every booked tutorial up to the end of the academic year unless they are cancelled.
Cancellation means you wish to end the course of booked lessons. We will provide a full refund for all prepaid tutorials that are cancelled with 2 weeks notice. Tutorials that are not cancelled with the required two weeks notice will still be charged. We will provide written or emailed confirmation that we have received your cancellation request within three working days.
3. Non Attendance
Please notify us as soon as possible if a student is unable to attend a tutorial. A message on the answer-phone or an email is very helpful.
You will be charged for all booked tutorials even if the student does not attend. However we will try to find an alternative time for the student to make up the missed tutorial. This rearranged tutorial will be at a different time and to the ongoing weekly tutorials.
4. Late Attendance
Each tutorial is of 80 minutes duration and starts at the published times. If a student is late or leaves early we will still charge the full price for the tutorial. However we will try to be flexible to accommodate unavoidable lateness by allowing the student to stay on after tutorials to complete exercises etc. when possible.
