Parent and Student come for free trial lesson

Tutor chats with Parent and Student about what they want to learn

Parent leaves building to grab a coffee in town. Will return in one hour

Tutor designs a bespoke tutorial targeting a specific GCSE question. Work includes essay writing skills and reading for comprehension

As Student learns, Tutor is supervising other students (max 5 in a group)

Tutor sets homework and gives feedback to Parent and Student at end of lesson

Parent and Student go home to discuss

Next day, Matt Mudie calls Parent to discuss attending every week

The first 6 months:

Student attends at same time slot every week
1

Student enjoys learning alongside other students
2

If Student has to miss one tutorial, they rearrange for a different day instead

Student is expected to complete homework every week
4

Tutor marks all homework and classwork and discusses corrections

Parent comes in for feedback once a month
6

After six months, Student feels more confident in school and is answering exam questions to a higher standard
