After finding Ipswich Tuition Centre website Parent emails about Student that needs support with Maths

Matt Mudie (Director) calls Parent to chat on the phone

Parent and Student come for free trial lesson, they decide with tutor whether to focus on maths or English or a combination of both

Tutor identifies key skills to improve using assessments on computer and worksheet

Parent leaves building to grab a coffee in town. Will return in one hour

TTutor assigns short 10min tasks on computer and on paper to keep the student engaged and enjoying themselves. Focuses on key number skills needed for SATs and high school

As Student learns, Tutor is supervising other students (max 5 in a group)

Tutor sets homework and gives feedback to Parent and Student at end of lesson

The first 6 months:
Student attends at same time slot every week
1
Student enjoys learning alongside other students
2
If Student has to miss one tutorial, they rearrange for a different day instead
3
Student is expected to complete homework every week
4
Tutor marks all homework and classwork and discusses corrections
5
Parent comes in for feedback once a month
6
After six months, Student feels more confident in school and is answering exam questions to a higher standard
